"I can't believe the dramatic difference in the quality of my skin. The redness and reactivity have been so much better, and the broken capillaries have been visibly reduced.”

Christian M.

Buffalo, NY

"I see changes within a week or so making me feel pretty and refreshed. I love the fact that it has a natural touch so people don’t think I've gotten something done but just comments like 'you look so pretty' 'you’re glowing' and I am happy with that."

How IPL Works

Light-Based Skin Rejuvenation

IPL Photofacial uses broad-spectrum light to treat discoloration, redness, and sun damage, while boosting collagen for clearer, even-toned skin. Best suited for Fitzpatrick Skin Types 1–4.

Targets Pigment & Imperfections

The light energy penetrates below the skin’s surface, breaking down dark spots, reducing redness, and minimizing visible veins for a smoother, more radiant complexion.

Improved Results Over Time

IPL Photofacial stimulates collagen production for firmer, smoother, and more youthful skin. Results improve over time, with optimal benefits seen after a series of treatments.

Evens Skin Tone

IPL improves overall skin tone and texture, revealing a more refreshed and radiant look.

Stimulates Collagen Production

By increasing collagen levels, IPL helps restore a firmer, smoother, and more vibrant complexion.

Preparing for IPL

Before Treatment

  • Avoid tanning of any kind, including sun exposure, tanning beds, sprays, and creams, for 4 weeks before treatment.
  • Discontinue medications that increase light sensitivity (consult your doctor before stopping).
  • Follow a daily medical-grade skincare routine with active sunscreen use to protect your skin.

During Treatment

  • IPL treatments typically take 30–60 minutes, depending on the treatment area(s).
  • You may feel a slight warming sensation and mild discomfort, similar to a rubber band snap.
  • The skin may appear slightly red after treatment, but this usually subsides within a few hours.

After Treatment

  • Mild redness, similar to a sunburn, is common but typically fades within a few hours.
  • Dark spots or freckles may temporarily darken before flaking off over 1–2 weeks.
  • For 2 weeks post-procedure, avoid sun exposure, exfoliating, and scented lotions or soaps in the treated area. (If in between IPL sessions, avoid sun exposure 4 weeks prior to your next treatment.)
  • Avoid vigorous exercise, sweating, or activities that cause skin flushing for 24 hours after treatment.
