DiamondGlow^® PRE & POST TREATMENT INFORMATION

For 3 days BEFORE treatment AVOID:

• Aggressive exfoliation
• Waxing
• Products containing acids
• Retin-A type products
• If you have a history of cold sores, speak with your PCP about prophylactic treatment prior to DiamondGlow treatment

If you wish to shave in the treatment area before the DiamondGlow treatment, you may do so 24-48 hours prior.
If you wear contacts, please bring your lens holder as you will be asked to remove contacts during treatment.

For best results:

• Stay hydrated
• Avoid direct sun exposure and use SPF 30+ with Zinc Oxide and/or Titanium Dioxide daily.
  • The treatment area is more susceptible to sunburn, sun damage, and hyperpigmentation.
• Follow a good Medical- Grade daily skin care regimen including:
  • The at-home SkinMedica daily skin-care product that compliments the serum used in your treatment.
    • This will extend and maintain your therapeutic results
  • As well as:
    • A cleanser
    • A growth factor and peptide serum
    • A hydrator
    • Eye and neck cream
    • A moisturizer
    • Daily SPF

For the next 24 hours AVOID:

• Retin-A type products
• Aggressive exfoliation
• Waxing
• Products containing acids

What to Expect:

• You will likely see results immediately after treatment and your skin will feel smooth and hydrated for 1-4 weeks post treatment.
• Your skin may experience temporary irritation, tightness, or redness. These are all normal reactions that typically resolve within 72 hours depending on skin sensitivity.
• All clients are different, some may experience a delayed onset of irritation, tightness, redness, tingling or stinging.

When to Contact the Office:

• If the above symptoms persist for more than 1 week, or you are experiencing unusual side effects
• If symptoms worsen or you are experiencing symptoms other than the ones listed above
